MY APPROACH

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

​CBT is the main modality I adopt. This therapeutic approach is effective in treating a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. CBT is typically structured, goal-oriented, and collaborative, involving active participation from both therapist and client. Sessions often include practical exercises and strategies that equip individuals with the tools to recognise and modify unhelpful thought patterns, fostering a more balanced and realistic perspective. This process not only alleviates distressing symptoms but also enhances overall quality of life.​

What can I expect to happen in a therapy session?

Each session lasts 1 hour and in a therapy session, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind. As a CBT therapist, I’ll guide our conversations to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll identify patterns that might be holding you back and explore practical strategies to help you move forward towards your goals. I typically offer between 6-20 sessions however this is flexible depending on individual needs.

 

You can also expect sessions to feel collaborative—this isn’t about me telling you what to do. Instead, we’ll work as a team to find what works best for you. Each session is tailored to your needs and goals, so you’ll always know what we’re working on and why.

How much do you charge?

All initial consultations are free. Sessions are priced at £85 per session and payment is accepted via Bank Transfer, Paypal and through Insurance providers (AXA & AVIVA). Price may vary if funding through your health Insurer depending on their terms and conditions.

Online Therapy & Availability

I currently offer Online Video Therapy (Telephone Therapy may be available upon request). I am available Monday-Friday, early mornings, late afternoon and evenings. Weekend availability may be eligible upon request, please note that weekend sessions may incur an extra charge.
